If you are looking to experience the unforgettable wonders of the jungle both day and night, join us for a deeper expedition lasting 3 days and 2 nights. The longer you spend with us in the jungle the deeper we can go and the more opportunities there are to see some of the more elusive Sumatran wildlife, especially elephants and tigers!
Thomas Leaf Monkeys are very inquisitive.
As with all of our treks, our expert guides will meet you at your accommodation after an early breakfast. We like to set out early to maximise your chances of seeing the wildlife wake up and avoid other tourists.
Wanda’s fishing may not fill your belly but will certainly be enjoyable!
Once in the National Park, we will take you away from the well-trodden paths and begin our trek where we can teach you all about the local wildlife and fauna. Some of the animals we often expect to see include; Sumatran orangutans, Thomas Leaf monkey, Silver Leaf Monkey, Long-tailed macaque, pig-tailed macaque, Great Argus pheasant, black gibbon, Siamang, White-handed gibbon and Rhinoceros hornbills. In addition, the area is also home to Sumatran elephants, tigers and sun bears as well as hundreds of bird, insect, amphibian and reptile species.
With frequent stops to enjoy the unique jungle atmosphere we will provide you with a fruit snack and a traditional local lunch of nasi goreng (fried rice) before we reach our camp location for the night. Expect to walk for around 5-6 hours in total on your first day.

When camp has been deconstructed you will continue your adventure, taking in a beautiful waterfall, stunning rainforest scenery and more wildlife.
On your second day in the jungle you can expect to walk for around 4-5 hours. As you venture deeper into the forest you will have more opportunities to see wild orangutans, Siamang gibbons, white-handed gibbons and bears.
Lucky trekkers may see tracks and signs of elephants and tigers or even catch a glimpse of them in the flesh!
In the late afternoon you will arrive at your second camp location where you can cool off in the river and relax for the evening while your guides prepare your meal.
